Ho Chi Minh - Day TWO

Well...mind you, this trip is solely SHOPPING TRIP ok since all my siblings (including my in laws are into it......not our children and they just lepaking at the hotel...hehe)

Ok..so this 2nd day we woke up early and went out around 10 am after having our breakfast..Today plan was surveying ONLY...so we started to go to Ben Thanh Market..just close by our hotel. 5 minutes walk..dekat la kan...so bila masuk pasar tu, memang no one of us yg shopping except for the masks..since plan kitorg just walk and walk and trishaw avoidance kan instead of taxi tp we all still takut lagi nak amik so called any transport..hehe...and we were in Ben Thanh Market until noon...then from there we walked to Saigon Square...oh mind u...ada 2 Saigon Square..so the one yg famous is Saigon Square 1....most probably Saigon Square 2 is Saigon Center...this one kitorg tak sure...and tak survey pon....ok la not bad sgt SS1 ni...brg pon updated sikit...boleh mintak discount tp tak la byk sgt...and ada aircond...

After that..we walked down to the mosque and try to find Halal Saigon...so after asking people here and there (don't forget the map at tourist center!)..finally jumpa laa..tp pity my parents kan..jalan agak jauh la jugak...so makan dulu!!!!!!....as expected agak mahal..sama mahal dgn makan kat KLIA so u can try to calculate it kan..hehe..nasi dia..best gile until my papa bought satu guni 25kg tauuuuu!!!hahaha....

Dah kenyang perut, suka hati..we crossed the road from Halal Saigon to the mosque to perform Zuhr & Asr prayer.....ramai org islam Champa kat situ..kurus2 orgnya...and telekung2 masjid, mak ai....Wangi betul nak compare dgn tmpt kita yg penuh daki, berbau etc....tp toilet dia..masyaAllah bau hancing kot...banyak kucing kat situuu......aga scary so sape2 nak g toilet sila bawak teman ok...

Next our destination to Bin Thay Merket @ China Town....From the mosque to Bin Thay Market, we took Vinasun Taxi and cost us around..alamakkkkkkkkkk...lupaaaaa...sorry..tp agak jauh la jugak kan....tp the area there sgt tak sesuai laa bwk budak kecik..market borong kan so mcm agak semak + panas + tak best....and kain pon tak cun...so tiada hasil penangkapan di sana....hehehe...

Tip 2: Sila naik taxi Vinasun...pekerja dia memang agak bersepah la..dia tolong kita get taxi Vinasun..dia pakai baju hijau....tp pastikan card hotel di bawa ke mana-mana...amik la byk sikit sbb kdg2 pemandu taxi tu amik and tak reti nak pulangkan...n kita pon lupa nak mintak..hancusss..hehehe

From there, we took Vinasun taxi again back to our hotel...but on the way to our hotel, we try to ask the taxi driver to bring us to the place where we can buy beras..tp apa sudah jadi, dia bawak kitorg pegi satu tempat untuk beli nasi dgn kuantiti yg byk..hahahahhaa....miscommunication di situ...and after bg tau dia...: NO...NO...RICE NO COOK....then baru la dia paham n bawak kitorg ke tmpt yg sepatutnya...kitorg bajet, taxi driver tu rasa bersalah kot, so bila smpi tmpt yg betul, dia pon turun sekali beli beras tu....end up kitorg beli 50 kg beras!!!hoho...then ahead to our Thanh Le Hotel...

After that, lepak2 kat bilik smpi maghrib before we went to Night Market...before that, hujan la jugak...tp kebetulan akt 7 pm, hujan dah berenti, and shop diorg pun baru nak up pelan2...tp paling best shopping kat pasar malam...harga boleh tawar kow-kow la jugak n tak la serabut sgt n paling penting, tak panas!!!!!!!.....pasar malam pon kitrog survey juga, tp dah start shopping fridge magnet..so paling murah boleh beli dgn harga 40k dong utk 10 fridge magnet...murah kan???hihihi...setel pusing2 sana, then patah balik hotel...so kitrog kena lalu la jalan Hjh basiroh tu..agak mahal la telekung dia....tp kitrog jumpa lagi satu kedai telekung yg kain super duper berkualiti and harga yg murah...kedai dia opposite hjh Basiroh tp tak la betul2 opposite..nnt I try to find nama kedai tu k....I bought telekung sulam...kat sini dlm rm150 kot..kat sana????murah la sikit tp takleh la reveal kat sini...marah kang peniaga telekung...hehehe.....

On the way balik, singgah la beli coffee jalanan..diorg jual dgn motor je...mmg marvellous habesss laaaa....since I pregnant kan, tp nak jugak la rasa...so telan la beberapa sip je kan..tp tiap2 malam dowhhh..ape citeee...hahahaa...

And to wrap our day today, sampai hotel, layan TV yg mcm2 chanel ada and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...till next day!!!

Tip 3: Kalau bertujuan untuk shopping semata-mata untuk first timer, kena peruntukkan satu hari ke kedai2 or market2 or mana2 la tmpt shopping untuk survey harga..jgn kalut2...p/s:baju tshirt guess/gap/Gucci original ek....we bought dgn harga 100k Dong paling mahal and equals RM16 sahaja...best kan......and oh I managed to by baby receiver 4 helai brand Baby'r'us dgn harga RM16 jugakkk..hihi..best best....

Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam, PEOPLE!!!!

YES!!!Finally...the family trip to Ho Chi Minh City @ Saigon, Vietnam has arrived!!!!!!
So our family consists of 12 adults and 5 child - 5 families..
But sorry to say..no pix available this time..malas nak upload...

We departed from Kota Bharu at 9.15 am and arrived safely at KLIA around 10.15 am..so our next flight to HCMC at 2.45pm...While waiting for the time, we were lepaking at Golden Lounge..makan la apa-apa saja dlm tu..siap tapau Haagen Dazs lagi masuk flight..Oh makanan MAS this time, betul-betul TIDAK menyelerakan - nasi with chicken satay...maybe sbb I hope for beryani...high expectation kan...hehehe..

Arrived safely at 3:40 pm HCM time...kitorg la org paling last skali berjalan ke imigresen..mana idaknya... smpi2 tu, terus ke toliet bergilir2..bila ada kids and pregnant lady kan, ini la caranya...hehee

Smpi kat imigresen tu, mmg la diorg ni hampeh..hampeh in the sense of - MUKA TARAK SENYUM wohh..u imagine k..almost all of them, buat kerja tp tgn pegang hp...time sembang kat hp boleh pulak senyum2 gelak2..in between ckp hp tu, time communicate dgn kitorg, terus muka mcm apa...as far as i concern, pegi la mana-mana negera pon, for sure dirog nak tgk passport holder punya muka...tp kat HCM ni, diorg tak berminat kot...my husband siap letak my daughter 5 y.o atas kaunter so that dia boleh tgk muka, tp kena marah la pulak...pelik....but who caressssss......

So settle kat imigresen, turun escalator utk collect bag pulak..berdebar pulak bcoz lepas ni nak kena scan beg kat kastam diorg pulak kan...so as adviced, kitorg gerak jauh2 - again satu family-satu troly...tp kitrog ni buat-buat berlakon jadik garang semua...kebetulan our kids mcm sgt excited- lompat sana sini..so kitrog mcm marah2 la konon nye...siap kastam kat sana senyum2 n last2 semua lepas...maybe diorg takot nak tego kitorg kot

TIP 1: Sila garangkan diri anda bila berdepan dgn imigresen-kastam-polis :- kita tgk sapa lg garang...hahahaha

Next:- taxi...keluar je dari pintu kastam tu (bukan keluar dari airport lagi)...memang ramai manusia2 tunggu kat luar...kitorg cuba mencari kaunter taxi vinasun tp tak jumpa instead jumpa kaunter Mai Linh..hujung sekali belah kanan...Mai Linh pon Mai Linh la....so kitorg macam malas nak pk pjg plus malas nak berebut dgn org plus penat dah (hehe)...terus ke kaunter beli coupon....dia charged USD12 utk innova and USD11 utk sedan biasa...beza rm3 je kan...so kittorg sambar je 2 innova..memandangkan smpi petang kan n takut jem org balik kerja n kang dia ckp meter tak berfungsi la pe la...so malas nak pjg cerita, bayo ajer lerrr.....

The journey took around 30 minutes kot ptg tu....honk here hong there smpi my daughter pon mcm marah2 ckp bising...hahaha funny...motorcycles sgt byk..rasanya kalau mat rempit dihantar ke HCM ni, diorg pon surrender kot..pandai tol menyelit sana sini.....hehehe

And finally smpi hotel around 6.30 pm kot...Hotel yg kitorg duduk selama 5 hari 4 malam si THANH LE Hotel...worth the penny..rm100 per night utk bilik paling besar...Hotel ni terletak kat lorong...silap pulak tak amik gmbr kan..if tak, boleh tunjuk kat sini...mula2 tu macam takut la jugak..tp baru perasan, nak masuk lorogn tu, ada gate and ada pondok polis and polis jaga....smpi malam hokey...hehe...so smpi2 tu, g la kat receptionist..alhamdulillah tak perlu nak pindah2 hotel lain pon...receptionist sgt baik n boleh communicate dlm english...smpi2 tu, mmg diorg angkat bag..eventhough badan mcm cicak kuben tpnya...urat dawai tulang besi kot..angkat sume bag kitorg....semua serbu nak angkat beg...hehehe

Senang je nak check in....n malam tu, kitorg lepak je dalam  bilik sbb penat sgt...just geng2 laki je keluar malam2 beli mineral water kat Shop 24 hours...kitorg lepak dlm bilik n zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............so sambung part 2 pulak k...

My first booking

I did my first booking  at 11weeks + 6d at ****. It went well..it just that I arrived there at 8.30 am and finished the antenatal check up at 11.30 am..3 hours in a row..check for urine, check for blood and scan again..but this time around, no pic were taken, just the value of size etc..so next TCA will be on 16 June 2013

This is the second scan

 

This visit was purposedly to look for the viability of the fetus..present of fetus and the heart beat....

When my name was called, I was like...*sigh*..berserah and tawakal and redha for any possibilities..

I was asked to lay down on the bed while Obs Dr prepared the scan machine..

Firstly he scan PA....it was only the sac!!!oh my..during that time..I was already lost hope..I thought it was a belighted ovum...I wanted to cry on the spot....However then he told me that, we couldn't say anything yet until we do the TVS..

After doing so, alhamdulillah finally I saw my baby two lying there with the heartbeat..syukur Ya Allah...he/she is viable....

First scan

 

Alhamdulillah..this is the first picture of my 3rd scan..It is intrauterine pregnancy...present of sac but still no fetus visible yet....i need to repeat it another 2 weeks.

 

After UPT positive, I did my scan at 5 weeks POA however there was nothing there..no sac...no everything...ok...then the next day I did scan with my fren..no sac as well but she said that my endothelial thickening (ET) was thicken - showing that InsyaAllah I'm pregnant..but my friend said that, I should keep in mind the next possibility was ectopic pregnancy...is still no sac at 6 weeks.

Ok..I was not that happy..but keep praying and praying until I did my Beta HCG level myself at pathlab..The result was increased in level (forgot the value)..so the chances of intrauterine pregnancies still there alhamdulillah...

palpitation

despite having this feeling b4 sitting for any exam or viva,scanning ur tummy for iugs also contributes to palpitation.really hope you are there bb2..u r there purfectly im mummy's womb honey.ur sister cant wait to take care of u.insyaAllah we,mummy,daddy n ur sister will take care of u.please grow healthy n heathier k..

Positive after LCB almost 5 years....

 

Alhamdulillah....praise to Allah for His rezeki..I am pregnant after my daughter almost reach her 5 years of life..I am shock surprise happy..all mix feeling..I did UPT since I missed my menses for 8 days from the day that I should mensed.

No...I'm not taking any pills or using IUD or implanon..it just natural barrier..u know what i mean, aye..

So since I have history of miscarriage in 2007, so I need to really take care for this bb2...avoid stress (important!!)...beware of "sharp" foods...and everything...

 

InsyaAllah my EDD would be on 07.11.2013

They want to be respect but they are not respecting others??

I'm not sure whether this is a new issue or not..regardless any universities of Malaysia, when you are a Dr (medical or dental or PhD) as well as Prof or Assoc Prof....many of them didn't really care how they were adressed by the juniors..either abg @ kakak etc...but some psycho would like them to be addressed as Dr eventhough their juniors also a Dr..giloss apooo..if you want them to call u as a such, u also must adress them as such!!got it..

When my lecturers in UK, eventhough they have Prof or something, they prefer we, doctors to call them with their names only..so why this arrogant people soooooo stupid enough to ask us to call them by their so called "respect"ive position????

TIME Keeper....

This January and February I am quite free from First Year thingy but couldn't escape for 2nd and 3rd Year class..hectic???helll yeahhh...

So far I love being a lecturer..most specifically - medical lecturer...rather than medical doctor..All because of ..

Seriously!!!!

I can adjust my time..not other people adjusting mine

I can change my lectures's time accordingly

I can take my own sweet time without disturbing others

I can come to school anytime and go back anytime - but I'll make sure my work is finish first

I am not saying that I am FREE ok...my time is occupied with lecture thingy PLUS research but the important thing, I am able to arrange-rearrange my own time without botherting other people...and because of this, I have my FAMILY time!!!!!!!!!!

Okey...I will try to make a table the differences between medical doctor and medical lecturer base on my experience k...

Finally...finally....I received his call at 7.73 am yesterday...I was so damnly happy eventhough his call woke me up..hihihihi..gatal eh::takpe laaa::laki sendiri kot kan::ohh..mcm org lain takde laki::eh...blog saya..apa awak susah hati???::....yadayada....

So now my phone must be charged twice-thrice daily as usual..hehehe...
Knowing that he was fine during the jungle thingy, made me so happy..alhamdulillah
So now I am so looking forward to see him this coming Friday!!

Ok...you know what..I am missing my husband..oh yeahhh...and you know what I didn't talk or contact with him since last year......HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA????yeaaa....since Dec 30, 2012!!!The stupid modul named OBS (out bound school) prohibited them to use the handphone during this modul that took one week duration..n today is the day!!oh my..i just can't to talk to him again..I really miss him so damn much!!!!

So the wifey out there..be grateful with your husband always be by your side...
